This is a hugely accessible and useful self-help bible. Every GP should be given a copy of 'The Stress Solution' and it should be prescribed to the millions suffering from the western stress epidemic.
The book itself is beautifully spacious and seems designed to comfort your busy mind. Unlike many other dense self-help books, this one allows you to breathe and take in the advice in healthy, manageable doses. Dr Rangan Chatterjee writes from personal experience (which makes him a human too) and prescribes his 'medication' in a straight-forward and easily digestible fashion. While other books may contain pages and pages of information, Dr Chatterjee is concise, gentle and pertinent, as all great GPs should be.
Having suffered from mental health difficulties recently, and being signed off long-term, I cannot recommend 'The Stress Solution' enough. I trust Dr Chatterjee and feel I am in safe hands. I wish he was my doctor! Thank you.
